XING - Too Much for the American Printer?

I recently had an introduction to join Xing from a friend.  Xing is a networking site not unlike LinkedIn, but with a decided, predominantly international membership.  If you go to Xing and look at their Print & Production discussion group, there are currently 4,782 members!  Can you imagine close to 5000 people with printing and graphic production skills in one place talking about important issues?  Incredible!

One of my friends is a guy who managed brands globally - color, design, all that jazz.  He worked an awful lot with people in the EU.   He told me about some color gurus in Europe and pointed me to some of the work these people had done in Germany, Austria, Italy and other countries - very important and significant!   Hope to hear from some of them here!
